I'm sure this is probably a great book, a professor requires me to have it, but I'm pretty sure mines not right. It sart at pg 1 goes to pg 22 then starts over, at the second pg 22 it jumps to pg 55.

unless you're assigned this book for a grade, avoid this book like it's the plague. Not only does the author spectacularly fail to define field-specific vocabulary, leaving the reader adrift in a sea of barely-penetrable jargon, but they also insist on defining commonly-understood terms. Sections that would benefit from diagrams are solid walls of text; conversely, complex ideas are explained almost wholly through images. And, most quite frankly, the book is ugly. The layout is visually unappealing, and in the case of sections of white text on red background, hard to read. For a book centered on visual design, you'd think the writer would be better at it.

I'm not usually a tech person but this book (partnered with my instructor's lectures) really helped better my understanding of the technical aspects of theatre. The examples are great and I learned a lot.

About the Author

Randall T. Salekin, PhD, is Professor in the Department of Psychology, Director of the Disruptive Behavior Clinic, and Associate Director of the Center for the Prevention of Youth Behavior Problems at the University of Alabama. He has published in the areas of child and adolescent psychopathy and conduct problems. Dr. Salekin is a recipient of the American Psychology–Law Society’s Saleem Shah Award for early career excellence and contributions to the field of psychology and law. He serves on nine editorial boards, is Editor of the Journal of Psychopathology and Behavioral Assessment, and is Associate Editor of the Journal of Abnormal Psychology .  Donald R. Lynam, PhD, is Professor in the Department of Psychological Sciences at Purdue University. He has published extensively in the areas of adult and juvenile psychopathy, the development of antisocial behavior, and the role of individual differences in deviance. Dr. Lynam is a recipient of the American Psychological Association’s Distinguished Scientific Award for Early Career Contribution to Psychology and is a Fellow of the Association for Psychological Science. He formerly served as Associate Editor of the Journal of Abnormal Psychology and Psychological Science .

This is an eye opening book. God created you with His dreams and wants to partner with you to see them fulfilled. This book is interactive in that they give you things to do at the end of each chapter to really get you thinking and moving forward. I found this book to be very encouraging, especially as a mom. It's easy to think that when you have kids your dreams kind of get shelfed, and yes some of them might for a time, but our kids need to see us going after our dreams so they will know that it's ok to go after their dreams as well! I love this book and I am so thankful that the Masons are following their dreams and that included writing this book! It's definitely one of my favorites and will be read over again!

Not only is it encouraging and inspirational, but it gives practical help in how to apply the principles and truth the book reveals.The practical application is illustrated with stories of people who have succeeded in their quest to discover and fulfill the dream God has put in their heart.While the reader will be encouraged, there is no false illusion leading one to believe that the process will not include hard work. However, the work required prepares the dreamer with the qualities needed to achieve success.
