The best series ever for young readers. It is very hard to find books for young readers that are based on the natural world. The photos are beautiful, the storyline is full of accurate, interesting, scientific facts about the natural subjects, and has a vocabulary building review at the back of the book. And each book in this series has several upside down jokes that reference the subject, an added point of interest for Montessori and all children. Highly recommended!
The book is a great read with the Grand babies. The pictures are beautiful. The author is great and we expect greatness from her. Highly recommended getting this book to read to young children.
Great addition for our homeschool plant unit. (Apx. 1st grade reading level and my son mostly understood on his own).
