This book was a major disappointment. I bought it because the description read that it is for beginners. Not an accurate statement. There very few pictures (in black and white) and there are no descriptions of the birds. I'm curious as to how a beginner birder could recognize the different kinds of birds with scant pictures and no descriptions.
The book I received looked like it got ran over by a truck. Contents of the book was disappointing. I was hoping for a more advanced book with many bird records. Basically a waste of money for me.
